  1. Congrats on all the hard work put in & all the best in whatever you turn your hand to in the next few months – sure you’ll only rock it!

  2. A quality farewell. I’ve been meaning to post one of these myself on my nearly-defunct blog, and may well do so this evening now that this post has given me a little nudge.

Congratulations on a great year, sir! I will see you next Wednesday at the annual we-are-all-so-great awards.

  3. Wow Gav, sounds like it’s been a rewarding but hard experience. Congratulations on your achievements. 60 hour weeks for himself are good weeks, so I can imagine how Ciara has felt, but I’m sure it was worth it. Best of luck in your future endeavours! :)

  4. Well done on completing the production year mate, I’m sure the print weekends were insane. Best of luck in whatever you turn your hand to next.

  5. As current News Editor (former Sports Editor) of The College View, it is feckin remarkable how many of the things you talk about apply to me.

    Long suffering girlfriend? Check.
    Severe lack of sleep? Check.
    Deterioration in German? Check.
Lack of exercise due to production? Feckin check.

Anyway, the UO was always a great read whenever I got to read it. Well done.

  7. Nice idea regarding the Italian.

Would be very keen to pick up either that or Spanish, or maybe rekindle my French which I left behind at junior cert level after college.
